ATD LV Fall Picnic & Donation Drop Off

Come spend a low-key fall afternoon with the ATD Las Vegas community — no agenda, no sessions, no name tags required. This is a picnic first and foremost, open to members, their friends, families, and anyone else who wants to come hang out. Kids welcome, guests welcome, no ATD LV membership required for anyone in your group.

The chapter is providing food for everyone, so all you need to bring is yourself, your family, and whatever gear makes you comfortable sitting outside for a few hours — blankets, camp chairs, sunscreen, whatever fits your afternoon.

What's happening

Pumpkin Carving Contest
Bring your own pumpkin — carve it on-site if you want the full experience, or bring one you've already finished at home and just show it off. You can bring your own specialized tools, and we will have a few carving kits available for use. This is casual and self-paced — carve at your own table, your own speed. Pumpkins will be judged in 2 different categories (yet to be determined.)

Costume Contest (Kids)
Kids are encouraged to come in costume. We'll be judging and awarding 2 prizes for costumes during the event — details on judging criteria and timing to come.

Pumpkin Contest
Bring your carved or decorated pumpkin for a chance at prizes in 2 categories (categories still being finalized — check back before the event or reply if you want to know before finalizing your design).

Declutter to Benefit ATD Las Vegas
We are partnering with Savers to raise funds that will keep dues at $75 for 2027, and invest in updated chapter technology. We all have stuff we don't use taking up space and/or bags we are meaning to donate anyway. This is your chance to get rid of it, and support the chapter! Gather up some items you want to donate, and bring them to any in person chapter Meeting or Event in September and October.

Prizes
All contest winners receive a $25 gift card — 2 for the costume contest, 2 for the pumpkin contest, 4 total.

What to bring

• Your own pumpkin (blank or pre-carved) 
• Blankets, camp chairs, or whatever you need to sit comfortably
• Yourself, your family, and anyone you want to bring along

What's provided

• Food for all attendees
• Prizes for contests

Cost & RSVP
This event is completely free. RSVP is required so we can plan food quantities — please register even if you're bringing guests, and let us know your total headcount. Register by 1200 AM Sunday, October 11
